What is vrAse?
vrAse are special glasses, which allow you to use your smartphone to put a new layer of images between you and reality.

Is vrAse a stereoscopic 3D device?
Yes. vrAse uses the technique of "side by side" (Side by Side), so your brain is the one that does the 3D; As in real life.

How long can vrAse last?
vrAse is built in a modular way with long-lasting plastics, with which you will be able to use your next smartphone, and easily change its parts.

What kind of controllers can I use with vrAse?
Bluetooth controllers are the most widely used. You should check the manufacturers compatibility with your smartphone before buying one.

Can vrAse be used by children?
Generally, children under the age of 18 are the responsibility of their parents, so they should use them under their guidance and make sure that it is safe and moderate. vrAse is not recommended for children under 14 years of age.

I sometimes feel bad when using vrAse, is this normal?
Yes, sometimes dizziness occurs due to three main factors;
1) The content you are using (if they cause very fast movements, the probability is higher of having dizziness).
2) The smartphone used (usually, the older the smartphone, it will have outdated sensors and technology that will not update the screen as quickly as needed to reduce the amount of motion sickness).
3) The user (each of us reacts differently to the orientation of our body, head and situations, just like some people get seasick more easily than others. Same goes for vrAse.).

What can I do to reduce dizziness?
1) Try not to use content that moves very fast. 2) Use a state-of-the-art smartphone. 3) Start using vrAse progressively.

How can I use each of the vrAse settings?

Do I always have to use the headband?
It is recommended to first start using vrAse without the headband, as it will make slower and more progressive movements. Once you are comfortable, you can start using the vrAse with the head strap.

Can I adjust the optical parameters while using vrAse?
Yes you can, but since it is a bit cumbersome, it is recommended to do it when using vrAse for the first time.

Can I repeatedly adjust the optical parameters of vrAse?
Yes you can, but vrAse is designed to only perform optical adjustments once.

Can I use unofficial vrAse accessories?
It is not recommended.

Can vrAse be used by different people?
Although it is possible, it is recommended not to do so because each user has their own optical adjustments and vrAse is in contact with the skin of each user, being able to transmit skin diseases.

Can I use vrAse with my next Smartphone?
Yes, as long as it fits within the maximum smartphone dimensions supported by vrAse; 180mmx80mmx15mm

Is there a recommended minimum screen size for vrAse?
Yes, 5 inches.

The lenses are constantly fogging up, what can I do?
Although vrAse has the largest ventilation surface available in an R.V. At the time of its launch, depending on the conditions, fogging of the lenses may occur. To reduce this, try the following points;
· let your unit reach approximately the same temperature as you are before use,
· increase the distance between the lenses and the eyes with the adjustment provided for this purpose,
keep the lenses perfectly clean,
· Use content that does not cause you to sweat excessively.

Is vrAse shock and drop resistant?
vrAse is designed to be a tough, long-lasting product, but it is not designed to withstand heavy knocks and drops. Treat vrAse with care and it will last you a long time.

Is vrAse waterproof?
Although vrAse is waterproof (not salty), it is not designed to be used under water and…you should first check if the smartphone inside is also waterproof!

How long is the recommended wear time for vrAse?
vrAse, like all entertainment devices, should be used for reasonable periods of time. This time depends on each user, so vrAse must always be used under the responsibility of, or by, an adult.. If you feel unwell and/or strange, stop using vrAse immediately.

As soon as I start using vrAse I immediately feel dizzy, what can I do?
You should immediately stop using vrAse. There are some people who have extreme sensitivity to movement. If after a few days without using vrAse, you try again and the symptoms persist, you should talk to your doctor and explain in detail what is wrong with you.

Where is the best place to use vrAse?
The best place to use vrAse is in a controlled location, where you are aware of your surroundings and away from any potentially harmful situations. Normally sitting in a comfortable and safe place is a good place to start.

Are there dangerous places to use vrAse?
It is not recommended that you use vrAse in places where you are unaware of your surroundings at all times and/or where they may pose a danger to you. Also, using vrAse outdoors in bright sun is not recommended as you may inadvertently burn your smartphone screen or worse… risk irreversibly losing your vision if you look directly into the sun (NEVER EVER do this! )

Is it safe to use vrAse inside an airplane?
Yes, you can perfectly use vrAse inside an airplane, since it doesn't have any electronics. Check with the onboard staff if you have any questions.

What can I find inside the vrAse package?
A complete vrAse unit, a main strap, a top strap and a carry bag.

Where can I find out if my vrAse is not a fake one?
You should only purchase vrAse from authorized dealers. You can find them at www.eyedak.com/en/store .

What kind of lenses come with vrAse?
The vrAse lenses were created to measure and in order to obtain the most comfortable virtual reality and augmentation experience.

What are the minimum requirements for smartphones that vrAse demands?
There are no minimum specs, but the more powerful the smartphone, the better the experience. Any standard smartphone should be sufficient to use vrAse with passive media content such as movies.

Can vrAse work with my Xbox®, PlayStation®, Wii® ?
We are not aware of any method that allows this type of solution today.

What is the best smartphone screen resolution for vrAse?
The older, the better. New smartphones with 4K screens are the best today.

Do I have to remove the smartphone from vrAse to switch between apps?
Normally yes, but it depends on the type of application executed. Some support voice command and/or response to movement.

Can I watch TV on vrAse?
We do not yet know of a software for it.

VISION

I am nearsighted, can I use vrAse?
Yes, vrAse has a focusing system so that it can be used without contact lenses by people with up to 3 diopters of myopia. Since focusing must be done for both eyes at the same time, you may not be able to find a perfect fit for your eyes (but it's better than not being able to use vrAse at all!)

Can I wear my glasses?
Most likely you don't need to use them. Only if you are more than 3 diopters myopia will you need to wear contact lenses.

Can I wear glasses while using vrAse?
Although it can with some models of glasses, we do not recommend them. vrAse is designed to be worn with lenses as close to the eyes as possible, making vrAse lenses easily scratched by glasses.

Can I use vrAse if I have vision problems/no vision in one eye?
vrAse uses Side by Side content, that is, an image for each eye, so your point of view must coincide in order to see as in real life. To be sure you should be able to try a vrAse before you buy it and/or consult your ophthalmologist.

Does vrAse cause eyestrain after prolonged use?
vrAse causes very little strain on vision, especially compared to other standard displays, this is so because with vrAse your eyes are normally focused at infinity (the natural resting position for your eyes).

Is vrAse safe for my eyes?
Yes, not only vrAse lenses are professionally designed and built. They are of the highest quality so that you can enjoy your smartphone content.

How changing the distance between the lenses can affect the comfort of vision?
Continually changing the physical spacing of the lenses without adjusting the software will cause your eyes to not focus correctly, resulting in a potentially uncomfortable experience. The content needs to be prepared for that situation and the eye gap needs to be adjusted, if not email the content developer and ask for support for the eye gap adjustment that vrAse has. If the software is not adapted, you will have to choose what is the best optical situation for you.

I am farsighted, can I use vrAse?
No. The only way to use vrAse in this case is with contact lenses.

I have astigmatism, can I use vrAse?
Low astigmatism shouldn't be a problem, but if it's high, the only way to use vrAse is with contact lenses.

I have amblyopia, can I use vrAse?
The user with amblyopia can use vrAse normally, but most likely the 3D sensation will not be as intense as with other users. Many users who have never experienced 3D outside of "real life" will be able to do so for the first time with vrAse.

I am cross-eyed, can I use vrAse?
The way to expose the content side by side requires a correct fixation of each eye on the image. Most likely, cross-eyed users will not be able to generate a proper 3D image.

I have a retina problem in my eyes, can I use vrAse?
If you have an eye disease, you should talk to your doctor before using vrAse and follow your prescriptions at all times.

After using vrAse for a certain amount of time, I feel my eyes hurt, what can I do?
You should stop using vrAse and see a doctor, explaining what is happening to you.

Can I wear contact lenses with vrAse?
Yes.

Can I change vrAse lenses?
It is not recommended.

What is the best way to clean the exterior of vrAse?
With a soft, clean, slightly damp cloth.

Can I clean the inside of vrAse?
Yes, but do it carefully.

Where can I save vrAse?
Anywhere that is safe and not subject to shock, pressure, or temperatures outside the operating range.

I broke or damaged my vrAse, where can I take it to be repaired?

How often should I change the face contact part?
Every time you feel that it is dirty, you should clean it or change it with a new one.

Is the headband washable?
Yes, but only by hand, with lukewarm water and only mild soap.

Can I use my smartphone?
vrAse incorporates a universal adapter that allows the use of all smartphone models, with maximum dimensions of 160 mm x 85 mm x 10 mm.

How long will my smartphone battery last?
It depends on the model and battery charge of your smartphone. We have watched movies in vrAse for a maximum of 7 hours, games for up to 4 hours and AR applications for up to 2 hours.

Will I see the scratches on my smartphone?
Unless it's a very large one, most likely not.

Is vrAse safe for my smartphone?
Is vrAse safe for my smartphone? Sure! vrAse in a way is a protective shell for your smartphone.

What is the best smartphone screen size for vrAse?
The ideal screen size for vrAse is between 5.5 and 6 inches.

How can I hear the sound from the smartphone while using vrAse?
You can use the smartphone's audio output with headphones or the smartphone's own speakers.

Is it advisable to use a screen protector for my smartphone when using vrAse?
A screen saver does not affect the use of vrAse.

Can I use my smartphone with its protective case in vrAse?
As long as the overall dimensions do not exceed 160mm x 85mm x 10mm, you will be able to use it.

What is the best brightness level should my smartphone use vrAse?
Always use your smartphone with vrAse at a low brightness level that does not cause discomfort.

Can I charge my smartphone while using vrAse?
As long as you can pull out the charging cable without forcing the vrAse, you will be able to charge your smartphone while using the vrAse. Remember to be careful, as the cable can cause you to trip over it and the charge can overheat your smartphone.

MOVIES

What kind of movies can I watch?
You can play any movie that is in 3D (SBS) or 2D format with an SBS player, either by putting it in the smartphone's memory, or by streaming it, using your favorite software.

I have videos that are not in SBS format, can I watch them with vrAse?
Yes, just use a player that can play the original format in side by side format. There are several available, check out our Apps section.

Can I watch a whole movie with vrAse?
Yes. Remember to stop using vrAse if you experience any discomfort during use. Also adjust the smartphone brightness to a low position for a more pleasant viewing experience.

GAMES

Will my favorite game work with vrAse?
The game has to be in Side by Side format ready and made for your smartphone.

Do I need a joystick to play with vrAse?
It depends on the type of game; some only use intelligent motion control, others using voice commands, and still others joystics, keyboards, and/or mice.

Can I play PC games on vrAse?
Although software exists for this, it is currently an area of general development in the industry. You can use streaming applications, and the final results will depend on many factors, such as the wireless or wired connection, the software used, the smartphone used in vrAse, etc.
